Composition
A contemporary lakeside residence designed around light, material, and landscape.
The focus was placed on achieving a strong relationship between interior and exterior spaces, using material contrast, controlled lighting, and restrained composition to create a calm and believable atmosphere.
Particular attention was given to natural light behaviour, surface response, and spatial continuity, with the goal of producing a realistic and coherent architectural visualisation rather than a purely stylised scene.

⸺ Environment & Site Context
The project began with an exploration of the surrounding landscape and its relationship to the built form.
Vegetation density, terrain variation, and proximity to water informed the placement, orientation, and openness of the structure.
⸺ Spatial Studies & Massing
Early spatial studies focused on balancing openness with enclosure.
Volumes were arranged to create clear sightlines, sheltered outdoor areas, and a gradual transition between interior and exterior spaces.
⸺ Structural Logic
The architectural language is defined by simple, legible structural elements.
Horizontal planes and vertical supports were used deliberately to frame views, provide shade, and maintain a calm, minimal silhouette within the landscape.
⸺ Iterative Look Development
The scene was developed through iterative refinement rather than a single final pass.
Lighting, materials, and composition were continuously adjusted to maintain consistency across all views and conditions.
⸺ Material & Surface Definition
Materials were selected to contrast refinement with natural texture.
Stone, timber, and dark metal surfaces were tuned to respond believably to light while reinforcing the project’s understated character.
⸺ Final Atmosphere & Composition
The final focus was on atmosphere and visual coherence.
Camera placement, lighting balance, and framing were used to support a calm, lived-in mood rather than a purely stylised presentation.
